New Expert-Investor on Board
Zytoprotec is pleased to welcome Prof. Christoph Steininger on board as a new, additional advisor and investor. Christoph Steininger studied and graduated from the Medical University of Innsbruck. He is a professor of internal medicine and an expert in innovations in medicine and biotechnology. In his medical and scientific career, he has gained extensive expertise in innovation and development at universities in Innsbruck, Vienna, Hamburg (Germany), San Diego (USA), Bangkok (Thailand), Lima (Peru), Bridgetown (Barbados) and Rehovot (Israel). He also obtained his business degree at the Danube University Krems. He was recognized early on by international medical societies for the development of innovative medical products. He has been applying this expertise and global perspective for many years as a co-founder of very successful start-ups and advisor to NGOs, governments and other start-ups. He works at the General Hospital Vienna / Medical University Vienna and the Vienna Tropical Institute, and he heads the Karl Landsteiner Institute for Microbiome Research.
